Forlan won't join Barcelona

Diego Forlan's agent, Daniel Bolitnicoff has ruled out all talk of the Atletico Madrid forward quitting the club and joining Barcelona. The player has a release clause of £30.5 million.

It is understood that Barcelona are instead turning their attentions back to Valencia forward David Villa, and not Diego Forlan.



The player's agent revealed that no offer from Barcelona had arrived after being spotted in Barcelona: "I was there for personal reasons, but if you all think that I came to speak to Barcelona then you know more than me!"
