Sevilla are being sensationally linked with a move for Brazilian striker Julio Baptista. The forward enjoyed some of his best years at the Spanish side and is desperate to return to the club, according to reports.

  • "Everything is going as planned, his recovery is going well," the agent told Calciomercato.it.

"Is he available for Milan? I don't know, that depends on the Roma medical staff. Julio is a bit concerned, but injuries are part of football and I think he'll be back playing soon.

"I can exclude the possibility [of a transfer]. Julio is doing very well in Rome, he is happy there and is only thinking about Roma and the next World Cup.

"We have not had any contact from Sevilla or any other club. He has a great relationship with [Claudio] Ranieri, he feels very comfortable with the coach."
