Hugo Rodallega is the latest frontman to be linked with a move to Birmingham City, as reports this morning indicated that the club were to make an offer of around £10-12 million for the Ecuador international.
Rodallega has been in inspired form of late, bagging a flurry of goals for his current club Wigan.
It is believed that the 24 year old could even be allowed to leave as Wigan boss Roberto Martinez looks to dip into the transfer market this January.
£12 million would be an excellent return on investment for Wigan, who have admitted they would consider offers for any of their players.
