Bolton and Burnley mend ties

Bolton and Burnley mend ties

12 January 2010 - 07:52

Bolton chairman Phil Gartside has tipped his club and Burnley to mend their broken ties after the Trotters' relentless pursuit of former Burnley boss Owen Coyle. Gartside is sure that their relationship will be recovered.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Gartside side of the transfer aftermath: "It is the same as it has ever been - we are competitors in this business.

"No doubt we will sit down and have a drink again in a couple of weeks and get on with life.

"A sideways step? That is not for me to judge. I do not know what Burnley are like."
