West Brom coach Roberto Di Matteo has completed the signing of 28 year old Spanish international defender Pablo Ibanez. The player joins after six years with Atletico Madrid.
West Brom have completed the signing of Ibanez on a free transfer to the delight of the Italian coach: "Pablo comes with bags of experience at the highest level, having been a regular fixture in La Liga for the past seven seasons.
âHeâs also played in the Champions League for Atletico and the World Cup for Spain, so the Premier League should holds no fears for him.
âPablo has a great pedigree and, at 28, is at a good age.
âHe will bring a physical presence to our defence and his arrival will create real competition at centre-half.â
