Wigan gunning for Mauro Boselli

Wigan have made an offer for Argentinean striker Mauro Boselli. The forward, 25 years old, is currently playing for Estudiantes La Plata in his homeland.

The striker will not require a work permit as he already holds an Italian passport.



Sunderland had also been linked with a move for the frontman, but Wigan are firmly in pole position to sign the 3.5 million GBP player.



Boselli has been outstanding at Estudiantes bagging 32 goals in 57 games.
