Hargreaves out for month

Hargreaves out for month

03 October 2007 - 12:43

Whilst the Man Utd fans were expecting to see Owen Hargreaves make his European debut for the club since his summer arrival for Bayern Munich, poor Owen Hargreaves was dealing with the fact he will be out for at least a month after an injection to treat tendinitis.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Ferguson did say that Hargreaves would not need surgery but he said: "Owen has had an injection in his knee and he'll be out for three to four weeks.

"This is an option we had from the very start, and if it resurfaced again we (decided we) would do that.

"So he's had an injection to try to clear the tendinitis in his knee."
