Everton are stepping up their interest in defensive midfield star Xavier Torres. The player is currently at Levante on loan from his registered club, Malaga.

Xavi Torres came through the youth ranks at Barcelona, and soon made a switch to Malaga after some impressive displays.



The report indicates that Everton will be willing to pay around 3m GBP for the Spaniard.
