Spurs: no rush for King

03 October 2007 - 21:23

Tottenham boss Martin Jol has insisted that there will be no rush back from injury for England defender Ledley King. The defender has been out of action for some time and has undergone surgery in Lisbon and may be out of action until January.

  • Spurs skipper King has not played this season so far following his close season operation to repair knee injury.

“I can't rush him. I can't wait for Ledley all the time because I have other players to focus on. If he will be back, it will be a big bonus for us," said Jol.
