Bolton are ready to replace Johan Elmander with a move for Besiktas striker Mert Nobre. The Brazilian born striker is available on a free transfer after falling out of favour at the Turkish club.
Nobre has been playing in the Turkish Super Lig for seven years, and has been consistent in front of goal with over 100 goals for both Fenerbahce and Besiktas.
Bolton are to offer the player, who also holds Turkish nationality, a reported £35,000 per week to move to the Reebok Stadium.
