Chelsea bid for Jack Rodwell?

Chelsea may make a shock bid for England youth international Jack Rodwell. The player is valued at around 12m GBP by his current club Everton. Tottenham are also interested. Rodwell had an excellent season with the Toffees last year, but his club may let the player leave if the price is right.

Rodwell has spent his entire career with Everton, since the youth team in 1998, and is apparently reluctant to quit the club.



However, with talk of a huge offer from Chelsea for the player, it will be difficult for the centre midfielder to resist.



The 20 year old midfielder will make a decision regarding his future in the next two weeks.
