Villas-Boas asks Chelsea for Falcao

Should Andre Villas-Boas take the vacant Chelsea role; it is believed that he has requested the signing of Colombian striker Falcao Radamel Garcia.

The striker is one of the most prolific forwards in Europe, bagging 41 goals in 50 games for Porto in recent seasons.



Porto would apparently demand up to 24m GBP to allow the Colombian forward to leave the club.



Falcao broke a long standing record for the most goals scored in a European season, 17, in the UEFA Cup and Champions League.
