OHara completes Wolves move

O'Hara completes Wolves move

22 June 2011 - 05:17

Jamie O'Hara has put pen to paper on a five year contract with Wolves. The former Tottenham midfielder spent last season on loan at Molineux, and has decided to move there permanently.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • O'Hara was disappointed at having to leave the club, but insisted the move was better for his career.

O'Hara said: “It’s going to be difficult to leave but there comes a point in your career where you want to be playing 300 or 400 games and I didn’t see that happening at Tottenham.

"I don’t want to be a squad player. I don’t want to be just a bit-part player. I want to be involved in everything that the club does and be a key part of the team.

“Tottenham is a massive club and they bring in fantastic players so that was always going to be difficult to do that. Hopefully now at Wolves I can be that player and be a key member of the squad. That’s something I’m really looking forward to.“
