Blackburn weigh up Alou Diarra bid

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has been linked with a shock move for Bordeaux midfielder Alou Diarra. Marseille are also interested in the France international.

Diarra has told Bordeaux that he would like to listen to any other offers that come his way, and Marseille were the first club to have concrete interest in the former Liverpool man.



However it seems Steve Kean is looking to hijack a move for Diarra, and will match the £4 million that Marseille have already offered.



Diarra has one year left on his current contract.
