Wigan have been credited with a shock interest in Argentina international Gabriel Hauche. The player, nicknamed "The Demon" in his homeland, was impressive during the Clausura season in Argentina, for his club Racing.

Racing value Hauche in the region of £2.5 million. The player is most comfortable playing as a support striker, where he is most effective using his incredible passing ability to create goals.



Hauche has already appeared five times for his country, scoring 3 goals.



It is understood Wigan will make an official offer in the first week of July.
