Fulham eye Gabriel Penalba loan

Fulham may make a move for Lorient midfielder Gabriel Penalba. The 26 year old spent last season on loan back in his country with Estudiantes, but is keen to return to Europe.

Penalba has already spent some time in Europe, previously with Cagliari and the so far unsuccessful spell with Lorient.



The French side paid £1 million for the centre midfielder in 2009, but he has since failed to impress.



It is understood that Penalba will be given the chance to join Fulham on loan for the 2011-12 season.
