Sunderland are weighing up a 2m GBP offer for Guglielmo Stendardo, the Lazio defender. According to reports, the centre back will be allowed to leave this summer.

Guglielmo Stendardo is one of Lazio's stand out players from last year, and since joining Lecce and Juventus on loan during 2008 and 2009, the player has become a regular in the Lazio first team.



It is understood that Sunderland are looking for backup players and that the Italian is being scouted by the club.
