06 October 2007 - 16:06

Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster has asked for more time as he strives to get his Galacticos playing attractive football. Real Madrid are top of the league and have won 6 and drawn 2 of their opening eight games, but the pressure seemingly already begins to mount on the German coach.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • "That's fine with me," he responded in the press conderence this afternoon, when asked if he understood his obligation to play pretty football.

"However, it doesn't change any of the infrastructure. There's a new coach and new players.

"They are all factors that have to be taken into account and that take time."

"It's not time to evaluate anything," he argued. "We'll do that at the end of the season.

"You can't make any conclusions after five or six games. This is an important process and we're going from less to more.

"One match won't change anything. I have two weeks ahead of me to prepare for the next match. It's just what I need."
