Arsenal in race to sign Lucio?

Arsenal have been credited with an interest in Brazilian defender Lucio, currently playing for Inter Milan. The 33 year old's agent has met with 3 clubs in England, one of them believed to be Arsenal.

“I think for the moment Lucio is happy at Inter, but we will evaluate the situation in a little while. It's premature to talk about that now," said Lucio's agent.



According to reports in Italy, Lucio has grown tired of life in the country he has spent only two years in with Inter, and has told his family that he would like to move to England.



Arsenal would have to pay up to £2m to bring the former Bayern Munich man to the Emirates.
