Arsenal have reportedly told American tycoon Stan Kroenke that he could well be ready to step up to the plate as the new primary shareholder in the football club. Kroenke has built new strong relationships with the existing board of directors at the Emirates.
Arsenal director Daniel Fiszman has revealed the club will not be spending ridiculous amounts of cash on new players like Chelsea have done since the arrival of 'benefactor' Roman Abramovich.
Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov has increased his shareholding in Arsenal after his investment company Red and White Holdings Limited raised their stake in the club to 21 percent. The move makes Usmanov the 2nd highest shareholder behind Daniel Fiszman who has 24 percent.
