There are reports in Italy that Genoa are set to make a move for Dutch international midfielder Edgar Davids. The free transfer window is still open, and Davids could well be on his way to Italy.
Edgar Davids is set to be released from his club Ajax, after the club and player would not agree terms on a new deal for next season. The former Tottenham midfielder's contract expires in June.
Edgar Davids has broken his leg in a pre-season friendly for Ajax which is likely to keep him sidelined for three months.
