Poortvliet to Southampton

Former Holland international Jan Poortvliet has been named as the new coach at the St Mary's Stadium. Poortvliet takes charge of Southampton with a wealth of experience, and during his playing days even helped Holland to the World Cup 1978 final.

Lowe returns to Southampton

Rupert Lowe has returned to Southampton after a two year absence. Southampton have had a miserable season and it appears that Lowe has returned to help bring th egood times back to St. Mary's.
