Phil Neville has revealed he is delighted that his current club, Everton, made a move for former Man Utd team mate Louis Saha. Neville feels that Saha is a wise acquistion for theToffees.
Ghana, the host nation, are through to the semi finals of the African Cup of Nations thanks to the late goal from Junior Agogo. Yakubu had given Nigeria an early first half lead, and Michael Essien had levelled things at the end of the first half. The game was poised for extra time until Agogo stepped up to send the hosts through.

Everton star Yakubu Aiyegbeni has hit out at Middlesbrough's chairman Steve Gibson. Gibson claimed that Yakubu was not fully committed to Middlesbrough's cause last year.
Everton eased past Championship strugglers Sheff Wed tonight in the Carling Cup. The Everton side dominated the game and Sheff Wed were largely resigned to shots from distance.
