Chelsea boss hints at quiet summer

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is not expecting to be that busy in the transfer market this summer, and will only sign players when absolutely necessary. The Portuguese coach referred to Man Utd's flurry of transfer activity and suggested that Chelsea do not need to match that ambition in the transfer market.
Villas-Boas will be somewhat prudent in the transfer market this summer, despite recent moves for Oriol Romeu set to be completed and Javier Pastore also expected to arrive at the Bridge.
Villas-Boas said: "It's not a case of spending straight away when we don't need to do that. We hope it will prove to be the successful approach.
"United have decided to sign players after losing some to retirement and they have reinforced those sectors. We will decide what sectors we need to reinforce in our own team.''
