Bosingwa to join Chelsea?
Porto defender Jose Bosingwa looks set to be signing for Chelsea in the summer, according to Portuguese press source O Jogo. It is believed that the English club agreed terms with Porto on Friday night in a deal estimated to be worth £14 million.
Bosingwa is expected to push fellow Portuguese compatriots Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo Carvalho in the Chelsea first team following his move.
Man Utd and Aston Villa had both been linked with a move for the defender in recent months.
Bosingwa joined Porto from Boavista in 2003 and has become a crucial member of the site, but board room wranglings at Porto mean the club need to urgently raise cash and Bosingwa is the man they have decided to let leave.
