Arsenal eyeing shock swoop for former Forest midfielder

Arsenal have been linked with a surprise move for former Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo this summer, according to Globo.
The Gunners are planning to add another quality midfielder to their ranks this summer, and they are unlikely to spend a significant fee.
It is now claimed that the club are keeping tabs on Danilo, who has made a good impression since his return to the Brazilian top-flight.
The 25-year-old had a tough career with Forest in the Premier League, and he was sold to Botafogo during last summer's transfer window.
Danilo has since found his feet with several standout displays, and he is a strong candidate to make the World Cup squad with Brazil.
The midfielder is also eyeing a return to Europe this summer, and it is reported that Arsenal have made contact with his entourage.
Botafogo are open to parting ways for the right price. They are set to demand at least £39 million for the former Palmeiras man.
