Manchester United have announced the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Sanchez, who was out of contract at the end of the summer, is United's first recruit of the January transfer window.
As part of the deal, a direct swap, Mkhitaryan joins the Gunners on a long-term contract.
"I am thrilled to be joining the biggest club in the world," Sanchez, 29, told Man Utd's official website.
"I have spent three-and-a-half wonderful years at Arsenal and I bring with me very positive memories of that great club and its fans.
"The chance to play in this historic stadium and to work with Jose Mourinho was something I could not turn down."
The Chile international has scored 60 goals in 122 Premier League appearances since moving to England in 2014.
His first PL match for United could come against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, 31 January.
