Romeu signs new Chelsea deal

Chelsea have announced that midfielder Oriol Romeu has signed a new three-year contract until 2017.
The Spaniard joined the Blues from Barcelona in the summer of 2011 and made his debut for the Blues in a 2-1 victory at Sunderland in September.
The midfielder was impressive over the Christmas period during his first season at Stamford Bridge but his first-team chances reduced due to a series of injuries that continued to haunt him.
The 22-year-old scored his first Chelsea goal in a League Cup win over Wolverhampton Wanderers early in the 2012/13 campaign when he converted a penalty.
Romeu, who has represented Spain at Under-21 level and was part of the squad which competed at the 2012 London Olympics, spent last season on loan at Valencia in La Liga, where he made 13 appearances.
Mourinho's side begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to newly promoted Burnley on August 18.
