Carvalho will stay at Chelsea
Ricardo Carvalho has rejected claims that he is set to leave the club to join Real Madrid in the summer, and revealed he was proud to be a part of the side that have managed to rescue their season in both the Premiership and Champions League.
"I have read about the interest of Real Madrid. But they have been after me for a long time, according to the stories," Carvalho told The People.
"Chelsea have made a great comeback in the league and it would be a shame to lose it on goal difference.
"In these months we have proved a lot of doubters wrong. To win the League would a great ending and an enormous morale boost for the Champions League final."
