Lahm seals Bayern stay
Philipp Lahm has ended all speculation over his future at Bayern Munich and decided to agree new terms on a contract that he has agreed. The deal is expected to run until 2012.
"I am really looking forward to staying here, otherwise I would not have done it," said Lahm at a press conference.
"My aim is to win the Champions League with FC Bayern and I am convinced we can do it in the near future.
"The team is going to be strengthened even more so that we can play a major role in the Champions League."
