Ze Castro wants Depor move
Atletico Madrid defender Ze Castro has made it clear that he no longer wants to play at the Calderon. The Portuguese defender has also remarked that he would like to move to Deportivo la Coruna this summer.
Ze Castro was signed by Atletico in the summer of 2006 and still has three years on his contract remaining.
But he has lacked regualar first team football at the Calderon for the last two seasons and has made it clear that he no longer fancies himself playing in the Spanish capital.
“I hope that everything will be sorted out by the end of the week,” the stopper told AS.
“My agent is overseeing things and I know that he has been in touch with Deportivo.
“Depor are a great club and they are excellent on the international level. I need to play regular football and I believe it would be a good move for me.
“I still have three years left on my deal with Atleti but I am not playing regularly.
“I have received other offers but I want to play in the best league in the world.”
