Aston Villa are making an offer for Tottenham and Scotland international defender Alan Hutton. The player - valued at around 3m GBP - will be allowed to leave this summer.

Hutton has found life frustrating on the bench at White Hart Lane, chalking up only 21 appearances last year; and now is believed to be desperate to leave for first team football.



The 26 year old had been linked with a move to Sunderland, but Steve Bruce has since turned his attentions to Man Utd pair Wes Brown and John O'Shea.
