Fulham bid for Mariano Pavone

Fulham bid for Mariano Pavone

21 July 2011 - 09:14

Fulham have made an offer for free agent Mariano Pavone. Liverpool and Blackburn have both been chasing the Argentine international; but the player has yet to make up his mind where he would be playing next year.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen
  • Blackburn had already agreed a contract with Pavone, but it seems the player is waiting for further offers from other clubs.

"Yes, there are a number of clubs looking at Mariano, obviously I cannot name them at this stage," Barry McIntosh, Pavone's representative revealed.

"The Blackburn situation is frustrating for Mariano, but as they made the move first we are willing to give them every chance to finalise the move.

"Mariano is a big fan of Steve Kean, he was very impressed with him and would love the chance to play for him.

"But we have to consider Mariano's future and we are aware of the interest from elsewhere."
