Manchester United are not considering dismissing manager Michael Carrick despite the club's woeful start to the season, as per David Ornstein.
The Red Devils have been dreadful in the Premier League this campaign and have picked up only seven points after nine games.
The club have also been poor in the Champions League, with three points in as many games, and the pressure is immense on Carrick.
Still, the hierarchy are not expected to part ways with Carrick and feel the 45-year-old is not the root cause of the Red Devils' concerns.
There is an acknowledgement that some players have downed tools this term and the focus could be on adding more quality in January.
United are likely to explore the next transfer window for an attacking player and a left-back. There could be a high-profile exit too.
Joshua Zirkzee has been a fringe player for the Mancunian giants, and he could be a possible candidate to leave the club permanently.
