Park Ji-Sung has been offered a new contract at Manchester United. The South Korean midfielder, aged 30, has been offered a 2 year contract and is currently considering terms with the club.

Ferguson said: "He has been offered a new contract, yes. His career at United has been nothing but excellent.



"I'm sure he'll accept the new offer, and tie himself to the club for the next two years."



Park's current contract expires in 2012, and so United are keen to tie the player to a new deal as soon as possible.
