Luca Scapuzzi is set to sign for Manchester City in the coming week, with a fee of around £1m agreed with AC Milan for the striker.
The 20 year old is highly rated in his homeland and Roberto Mancini has told club representatives that the player is good enough to make the first team in the future.
A deal is expected to be completed in the next week.
