Arsenal are still desperate to sign Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell, despite reports that the player and his agent failed to show up for discussions with the Gunners last week.

It seems that Arsenal are to try again for the Saprissa striker, having already agreed a £1m fee for the player.



Joel Campbell himself remains focused on impressing for his country in the Under-20 World Cup, though, and is in no rush to join the Gunners.



"Arsenal is a topic I do not want to talk about at this moment as I am focused on the Under 20 squad and then we will look at what happens," said Campbell.
