Manchester City are considering a shock move for Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen, as they search for a replacement for Shay Given who joined Aston Villa last week.

Thomas Sorensen is valued by Stoke at around 2m GBP.



Sorensen has also hinted that he would be ready to move to another bigger club in search of trophies.



It is understood that Stoke will rebuff any approach for the talented goalkeeper.
