Blackburn boss admits Samba interest

Blackburn boss admits Samba interest

14 August 2011 - 11:23

Blackburn boss Steve Keen has admitted that a number of clubs have been in contact regarding the future of star defender Christopher Samba.

  • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
  • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future
  • However, he admitted that at this time, no official offers have been made.

"There have been phone calls for seven or eight of our players, from clubs asking to be kept in the picture if they become available.

"But showing an interest in a player and actually bidding is a totally different thing. We have not had any bids for Chris Samba. There has been interest in all the lads who did well last season, including Rubén Rochina, but there have been no bids for any of them."
