Fulham forward Clint Dempsey is a shock target for Tottenham. The American international has been an influential member of the Cottagers' first team since arriving, but Spurs are set to test Fulham with a bid.

Dempsey is understood to be very happy at Fulham but also keen to move elsewhere as he has European ambitions.



According to reports, Tottenham have made an offer of around 4.5m GBP for Dempsey.
