Liverpool's talented young midfielder Jay Spearing has been linked with a shock move to Bolton Wanderers. Bolton boss Owen Coyle is a huge fan of the England under 21 international; and will make an approach for Spearing this week.
According to reports, Spearing has been told by Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish that the midfielder is very much in the long term places of the Reds, but this season Spearing would be be able to leave on loan in search of regular first team football.
The recent arrivals of Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam means that regular first team football at Anfield would be hard to come by for Spearing.
Bolton have also been linked with a move for Liverpool forward David N'Gog.
