Poulsen heading for Liverpool exit

Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen will leave the club and is set to sign for French ambitious side Evian. Poulsen arrived last year for 4.5m GBP from Juventus.

However, Liverpool have decided to cash in now as the player has no first team prospects this year.



"Liverpool FC have tonight confirmed that they have reached agreement with Evian Thonon Gaillard for the transfer of Christian Poulsen," said a Liverpool statement.



"The French side have now been given permission to talk to the Denmark international."
