Ruud: not worried by Barca

09 October 2007 - 21:46

Ruud van Nistelrooy has claimed his Real Madrid are concerned by the threat of Barcelona. The Primera Liga champions are currently sitting in first place while their rivals Barca are in second spot. However, Van Nistelrooy feels while Real are top, they must not worry about Barcelona.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • "They (Barcelona) play well, but we are still leaders, there isn't anything to be worried about," said the Dutch ace.

"For us it is important to win and to play well. It is difficult in football to combine these two things. In this season we have made good games, against difficult rivals. We are going to continue like this and try to win with this group, which is very young.

"We have a long time to improve."
