Reports from Spain indicate that Jose Mourinho had been offered the role of coach at Man City, but turned it down and chose to remain at Real Madrid.

According to the report, Mourinho had been contacted by representatives of Man City, who were looking to bring in Mourinho to take charge of the team for the new season.



An offer also was received from ambitious Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
