19 September 2011 - 07:02

Impressive Fulham centre back Brede Hangeland is reportedly locked in talks with his club regarding a new five year contract at Craven Cottage.

  • Chelsea told to pay £42m to sign Pep Chavarria
  • Chelsea also want to sign Man Utd midfield target
  • The Norway international has been an important player for the Cottagers since he arrived at the club, and Martin Jol looks set to reward the defender with a new and improved 70,000 GBP per week contract.

Hangeland has been linked with a host of other teams over the years, but has decided to stay at Fulham for the time being.
