Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas will miss three weeks of action after picking up a hamstring injury in training.
The club have revealed on their official website that the former Arsenal man is expected to miss not only Spain's matches against Czech Republic and Scotland, but also the La Liga fixture against Racing Santander and the Champions League clash against Viktoria Plzen.
Fabregas will join Afellay, Iniesta and Sanchez on the sidelines, as Barcelona have a mini injury crisis. He has been in scintillating form, scoring in four of his first five league games.
He used the social networking platform Twitter to share his views about his injury.
"Can't wait to start working on recovery, to be back as soon as possible," Fabregas tweeted later on Saturday.
"Luckily it's not serious. Keep you updated. Have a nice Saturday!"
