Wenger will open cheque book in January

17 October 2011 - 05:41

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted he could be in the market for new players come January. The Gunners manager has been linked with a host of names after a disappointing start to the season.

  • Chelsea have held talks for Ayyoub Bouaddi
  • Chelsea want Newcastle star to replace Cucurella?
  • With Arsenal sitting in 10th after 8 games in the Premier League, some fans are becoming restless and want Arsene Wenger to bring in new faces as soon as possible.

Wenger admits he is not sure if he will be in the market, but it depends who is available.

"I don’t know if there will be much business in January", said Wenger.

"At the moment I am happy with my squad.

"It depends who is in the market and how well we do between now and December."
