Wigan fancy Haris Medunjanin move

23 October 2011 - 07:54

Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Haris Medunjanin is a target for several Premier League clubs, but Wigan are leading the race, according to a report from Israel on Sunday.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Wigan have lacked creative inspiration in midfield this year, and are desperate to find a new addition to their squad to help them climb the Premiership table.

Haris Medunjanin is very highly rated in Israel, and the Bosnian international has a very impressive record since he joined the club in 2010.

Medunjanin has nearly scored a goal every three games from midfield.

Maccabi are hoping for around 5m EUR for a player they purchased for half that figure nearly two years ago.
