Arsenal are reportedly looking at Athletic Bilbao hitman Fernando Llorente as cover for inspirational captain Robin van Persie.
van Persie has been in top form for Arsenal having scored 9 goals in all competitions this year already.
However, Wenger feels that the team is beginning to rely a little too much on van Pesie who has been scoring regularly. van Persie came off the Bench against Stoke to score a brace that led the Gunners to victory.
Llorente's height and decent goalscoring record will make him essential for Arsenal, as they look to sign an out and out striker.
Bilbao have insisted that he is not for sale, but an offer of £25 million may be enough to tempt them into selling their prized asset.
