Southampton could make a shock move for Molde's centre back Vegard Forren once the transfer window reopens in January. Forren has spent his whole career with the Norwegian side, and is highly rated in his homeland.
Forren has been an important part of the team that this year won the Norwegian title; and Norwegian press have recently attributed Molde's success to Forren's stunning displays at the heart of their defence.
According to reports, Southampton have been monitoring the 23 year old in action and could make a bid of around 850,000 GBP for the player.
